Languages

Which source languages do you translate into English?+

F2 Translations works with Portuguese, Spanish, French, Italian, Chinese (including Mandarin), German, Dutch, Arabic, Russian, and other source languages.

Is the website available in all of those languages?+

No. The website and client service are available in English, Spanish and Portuguese. The additional languages refer to the source documents we translate into English.

Can I request a language that is not listed?+

Yes. Select Other language in the quote form and identify the source language so our team can review the document.

Certified translation

What does USCIS require from a foreign-language document?+

The document must be accompanied by a full English translation and a certification that the translation is complete and accurate and that the translator is competent to translate.

Is a certified translation the same as a notarized translation?+

Translator certification addresses the completeness and accuracy of the translation and the translator’s competence. Notarization is a separate signature procedure.

Foreign-language documents submitted to USCIS generally require a complete English translation and translator certification.

What does the Certificate of Accuracy contain?+

It identifies the translated document and includes the translator certification concerning completeness, accuracy, and competence.
